Wearable Therapy™
Axiobionics® develops and markets new and innovative medical devices for pain control and neuro rehabilitation. We specialize in the design of custom-made electrical stimulation technology and orthotic and prosthetic devices. We are expanding our resources to meet the growing need for improved outcomes for medical conditions that, when not managed effectively, lead to years of suffering, loss of function and job loss.

Axiobionics® is uniquely positioned to effectively manage complex issues that patients with orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, loss of neurological function and muscle paralysis face each day.

The Axiobionics® Wearable Therapy™System is the only customized, surface electrical stimulation system designed specifically for each patient so that the fit of the electrode garment, as well as its application and purpose, is an exact match to the individual.   These systems are designed to be worn on the body in a variety of ways, depending on the needs of the patient. They can be worn under clothing throughout the day and hidden from view, but they do not hinder the patient from moving, living, working or sleeping.

NeuroProsthetic Systems are electrical stimulation devices that are worn on the body throughout the day to impart function to the limbs or trunk and substitute for the loss of function by generating muscle movements at appropriate times of sitting, standing, walking, and arm function.  Patients with central nervous system injury or disorders are candidates for NeuroProsthetic devices. This technology can also, in certain circumstances, eliminate or reduce the need for bracing.

The greatest benefit of NeuroProsthetics is their integration with the body's own nervous system and muscles, working WITH the body to use its own strength and power to produce more fluid and purposeful movement while exercising both muscles and neuropathways. In additional, they can also be used in conjunction with orthotics to further enhance function. The goal is always to help patients attain higher levels of function and improved rehabilitation outcomes.
